Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you have to make as a parent or carer. We understand that you will want to take time to make an informed decision and will probably have lots of questions to ask. Visits to school are recommended. Please ring the school to arrange a visit (01904 806330) and feel free to contact us with any questions.

Please click here to download our Extra Information Form that we ask parents and carers to fill out to ensure that we can make a fully informed decision regarding your application.

Admissions to Reception

Each academic year, there are places for 20 children in Reception. The Admissions Policy on this page explains more about how making an application works. As well as understanding the process, we realise that parents and children like to visit school, see what we do and get a feel of what it is like to be part of our school family.

You are very welcome to visit us or contact us to ask any questions that you might have. You can contact us on (01904 806330) or email us at: office@heworth.pmat.academy.

Please have a good look on our website to see some of the things that we do. Another way to find out more about the school is to read our latest Prospectus, SIAMS Report and Ofsted Report.

Any feedback from the consultation will be considered by the Trust as the Admission Authority.

Any objections to our admissions arrangements may be made by parents/others to the Schools Adjudicator. All objections must be received by the adjudicator on or before 15 May 2026. For more information, please visit: www.gov.uk/guidance/school-admissions-arrangements.
