The Archbishop’s Prayer
In September 2023, the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, wrote a new school prayer to commemorate the change to our vision and values. We use this prayer at times in our Collective Worship.

The Archbishop of York

Faithful God,
We thank you that we are wonderfully made.
Help us to use our gifts and talents to live in such a way that all people may flourish and have life in fullness.
May we treat each other with respect, remembering that we are all created in your image;
may we be compassionate, following the example of Christ;
may we be courageous, holding firm to our faith;
and may we persevere always, trusting in you for strength;
in Jesus name,
Amen.
